Love Your Lymphatics, Love your what?
Lymphatics. This highly pertinent system plays a major role in whether you are in good health or lacking it. Let me introduce you to your lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system. It runs throughout the body and has a variety of jobs. It carries lymph fluid (waste filled fluid) through lymph nodes. This fluid contains damaged cells or cellular debris, bacteria and toxins. These things are routinely filtered through the lymph nodes. The lymphatic system cleans the lymph and returns it to the circulatory system as plasma, for use in the day to day operations of the body.
The lymphatic system is also part of the immune system. It is responsible for moving blood cells throughout the body to fight infection. It monitors your body for germs and abnormal cells, like cancer cells, and tells your immune system when to go to work to defend against disease. This makes your lymphatic system your first line of defence.
A clogged or overwhelmed lymphatic system leads to chronic dysfunction in the body, illness and disease. Your daily activities and health become affected!
